Is This A Joke?????
A statue of two women holding a globe ( looks like they're playing basketball ), supposedly Roman, was found while the owners were in the act of trying to sell it for $15 million. Look at it HERE. If it's Roman, it must be unique. Looks like Victorian tat to me. Come on, please tell me this is some sort of strange joke. $15 million for THAT!

It's from the time of Hadrian and looks like it could be Antinous. The Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris has a lot more than books.Nero as Apollo? Yeah, Right!

The Porta Nigra, at Trier, Germany. Built c180-200 CE. An incredibly well preserved Roman gatehouse.
The name Porta Nigra, black gate, derives from the layer of soot that formerly covered it.
